A float trip on a crystal clear Ozark stream is an enjoyable & rewarding experience. It’s easy to appreciate the natural beauty of Missouri as you pass through an ever-changing panorama of bluffs and valleys teeming with beautiful trees, plants and wildlife.
The upper Meramec is one of the best floating and fishing rivers in Missouri. The Meramec has recently been ranked as the 10th best river in the United States for canoe camping. We furnish 17′ canoes, two paddles and two seat cushions or life jackets per canoe. You are responsible for lost or broken equipment. We recommend two people per canoe, plus gear.
Reservations are highly recommended for weekends. Reservations paid in advance will guarantee you your rafts & canoes until 12:00 pm. Assuming you are not going to show, we will rent them to someone else, unless we hear from you that morning otherwise.
Departures start at 8:00 am and run until 3:00 pm. Remember to allow for room for coolers and gear.

The River Classification for The Meramec is a Class I: Moving water with no rapids. Trips focus on scenery, wildlife, and optional swimming opportunities. Ideal for young children or anybody seeking a relaxing float trip with breathtaking scenery but no white water. lt is against the law to have glass in or on river.
Our camp store offers towels, T-shirts, water shoes, snacks, food items, and camping needs. From water toys to sunglasses and suntan lotions, We try hard to remember the things you forgot.
